Event Guidelines
The
Porterhouse Grill is an elegant American steakhouse located in
beautiful downtown Athens. Boasting a 60 seat semi private dining
room in addition to the rest of our restaurant, this is an ideal
location for rehearsal dinners, client meetings, and other
exclusive occasions. We offer several special event packages
designed to accommodate the needs of all. Our full bar and
extensive wine selection ensures that every guest will be pleased.
Unlike other area restaurants, we typically do not require a room
rental fee.
As host or hostess, you are able to select a special event package. On the evening of your event, your guests will be offered multiple choices for each course. We will gladly recommend a selection of wines to pair with your event menu. A fee of $10.00 per cake or dessert will added to your bill should you choose to bring in your own.
Package selections and all dietary restrictions must be made seven days prior to your event to ensure both quality and timeliness of service upon your arrival. Menu selections may be reflective of the current menus in production at the time of your event. Your guaranteed guest count is required 72 hours prior to the event date. Please call ahead if your party is going to be late.
A minimum of 25 guests is required to book special event packages. A 50% non refundable deposit as well as the signed contract are required to hold and reserve your event date. The deposit will be applied towards the total bill at the conclusion of your event. Payment is due in full at the conclusion of the night of the event. We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
